It's been an odd weekend. I was in Quebec City shooting the Redbull Crashed Ice event for a few clients, and then caught the ice boat races on sunday (see other thread).
Crashed ice is what you get when you add 128 of the best skaters on the planet, $10 000 prize money, 100 000 spectators, a 300+ year old city, 500m refridgerated track with jumps, doubles, steps and berms and 70m+ vertical drop over the length of the course. It is boardercross on skates, with a bit more mayhem.
