I get to as many as I can. Crikey, I have over 5000 posts in just a few months. Sometimes, especially lately, they go so fast I miss some. Sometimes I worry that I'm posting too much. Sometimes I just worry, but I never worry about my sister marrying a Martian, cause I don't have a sister. :D

Hey KT I'd say 10% responses from Views is very good most recieve less. You still have a pretty good record.

Hang in there

I am having trouble understanding how race got involved with this thread, as to being or not being an issue.... Did I miss an implication no comments were being made because of this?? If so I am in trouble because I am green. This isn't a world wide forum, it is Universal.. I am officially disclosing that I am a Martian.... I hope this doesn't influence whether you will or won't look at my posts ;) ;)..... Lets not even go to race, or nationality, having anything to do with anything, ..... Thank you.....

That expalins the great quality of your shots! You're using super Martian technology!:)

I'm pretty new on here but I have been wondering how people can keep up with all of the posts. I know that i'm missing a lot of great shots because I just can't look at everything posted.

Hey I've thought the same thing...I've posted shots I thought were wonderful and gotten one comment, and other marginal ones that get lots. It's a crapshoot. It hurt my feelings a bit at first but I've learned to deal with it, there are a LOT of posts on this site. The nice thing is most comments are positive. It's what YOU think that is important. Sometimes I think I'm addicted to hearing nice comments, rather than trusting my own opinion. Other than some family(who are probably sick of looking at my stuff..) no one else seens them, so it's nice to have a larger audience. :) Keep posting!

It seems the raptors get a lot of the interest, but personally, I like the little birds best. Sometimes I post what I think are great shots, and they just drop off the bottom with no posts at all. But like I said elsewhere here, "This forum is like having people from all over take shots of birds you'll never see in real life, just for you." and that's why I do it. There are people from all over who will never see some of the birds I shoot, including the eagles, so I post them up, hoping they will reciprocate with some shots of birds I will never see in real life. And hey, it works. So if they miss some of mine on occasion, it's their loss, not mine. ;)

What I believe happens is, a lot of people use the "New Posts" tab up there ^ and the latest posts show up first and as people comment on a picture, it keeps getting bumped to the top of the "New Posts" list making more and more people see it and on and on.

Also the people that spend a lot of time on here get used to the other people that spend a lot of time on here, (get it ????) and so you tend to spot a "friend" and check his post right away before someone new.

MHO
