I don't know a lick of html. I'm great with CS2, Dreamweaver, etc. but when it comes to the actual code of html it drives me nuts. I'm hoping someone here can assist a fellow POTNer. Using blogger, I've created a blog attached to my site (www.demphotography.com/blog)
. The issue is that I want it to look like my website. While it's close, it's no cigar. Here's what I want to do.
- I want the background to be grey - the same grey as the color on my regular site.
- I want the header container and the containers of the posts and sidebar to remain white...maybe with a darker grey border like my pages appear on the regular website.
I messed with the template and I can almost get there, but what I'm having issues with is the margins and padding in the main content and sidebar sections. I can't get them so they are NOT FLUSH up against the border of the column. Currently the blog how I originally created it through blogger. All my testing was done in preview mode.
So I'm basically asking can anyone take a crack at tweaking the attached code so it'll match (as close as possible) the look and feel of my regular website? I'm sure it's an easy thing for someone out there, but I've given up. The coding just drives me crazy. Thanks!
p.s. I ideally would love to embed the blog right into the website without making it look like it's jumping to a new site. Any tips, help or links on that would be appreciated as well.
