You want critique, or just showing images. I can comment either way - depends what your looking for. In general they are nice. Enjoy the opportunity while it lasts.

Hey Croasdail. i dont mind some helpful critiquing, but also would like to say that i dont view these as technically perfect images. i sold my 1D to fund a mkIIN or III body and was using my 20D with my 70-200, which ends up being a bit too long for my tastes with the crop so theres lots of little bits and pieces missing from the photo (fingers here, ball there ect). but sure anything you have to say would be appreciated.

#1 looks a tad darker, than the other ones, but then the others are at the basket while the 1st is closer to the middle of the court which sometimes can be darker.

#4 - the scoring guy is soft. The ball seems sharper. I'd say one to throw out, as there is little face and his back is not really sharp.

#5 - I like it. It's funny if you crop so you can only see FSU's shorts, it actually works well too. Try it, might seem interesting. I actually like it more there.

#6 - don't need that. No ball, cropped fingers

Greg pretty much covered it. The 20D with a 70-200 under the net can be tough. I prefer to shoot a 24-70 under the net with that camera. That kind of explains the tightness here. I know it is hard because you hear and see "shoot tight" here so often, and yet to me basketball showing the relationship between the player, the floor, the defenders, and the height that they play at sometimes really makes for more impact. This really only works if your shooting in the position right next to the net. But with a 70-200, that becomes really tough to pull off. Cheers.

How'd you get any shots without Thornton scoring? Didn't he have 45 in that game?

Nice shots. I did a WFU game under the basket with a 70-200 on a 30D, and I agree it gets a little tight for such close action.

It's not bad if you can get near the edges where the baseline and sideline intersect, but yeah, very close to the basket, is very tough as far as framing.
