I recently updated my website. I am always looking to make more improvements. I am working to learn flash right now and hope to make a nice spalsh page.

Any comments would be greatly appreciated.

Erik, you need to get your own domain name. It's a whopping $3 a month for hosting and about $10 per year for erikunger.com.

godaddy.com is cheap and easy. I use it and it's painless.

Second, your contact me is a mailto:. you are going to get spammed hard by 'bots that scan for these email addresses. Use form mail or like above, use godaddy's mail -->(erik@erikunger.com)

Next, use a gallery software that is dead easy to use called Porta. It makes a nice flash front end for simpleviewer XML files. Dead easy and free.

Joomla is a whysiwyg editor to make your site content unpdateable on the fly. Free from godaddy and other hosters as well.

Your site is simple and loads quickly. Only problem is that it is too simple. It does look dated but as far as photography sites go (which I feel are not done well usually) it is the "norm".

Add some flash and dash to it. Perk it up a bit. Watch your own surfing habits and see what keeps you going to a site or pressing "back".

I say keep it as is for now, move towards getting better content management. Show your great pics off as best you can!

people will always try to stop you doing the right thing if it is unconventional
Full frame and some primes.
