Hi,
I've been around the forum for a while but have now changed to Canon gear and was wondering if anyone can tell me if I should go for the canon 1.4 converter or the Kenko one. it will only be for occasional use with a 100-400 lens.
Thanks.

For me, I prefer keeping Canon equipment with Canon equipment but thats just me. I figure if there are any issues, Canon has the ball. Also, by not mixing the two it keeps compatibility issues to a minimum. Anyway, check out this thread. It has great info. Not sure why, but call me JJ.

I use it with a 70-200 canon lens. Please speak slowly and distinctly. I have a wife, AND a computer, I don't need any more confusion in my life.

It is my understanding that autofocus will work (but not as well) as long as the lens is still f/5.6 or faster with the t-con on. An f/4 lens should still autofocus with a 1.4x t-con on those cameras.
