You are about 1 week late on this. You did look at the posts in the forum and saw that there are numerous discussion on the 1D-MarkIII that have been going on some time now, right (lol). Sorry to spoil the fun.

I'm guessing he just got off DPreview or the PMA site and saw the camera's and went straight here and posted about them. He did the same with the Nikon D40x, which has already been discussed starting yesterday. I don't think he actually read, or at least skimmed thru the forums, to see if what he was going to post, was already discussed. I think the excitement got to him :)

Of interest maybe that Canoga Camera has it listed for $4499.00 usd...it would seem an entry point has been set.
