I have a Lowepro Computrekker Plus AW that will hold pretty much all my stuff, including my tripod and a 17" notebook PC. I decided to see what it would weigh with all that stuff loaded into it... 26.2 lbs without the notebook and tripod, and 40.4 lbs with. That's what I call "stupid heavy". :D Luckily it is still very comfortable even with all that weight, but I don't think I'd want to haul it around all day. My problem is I can never decide what to leave behind.

Apparently I have too much time on my hands.

Edited figures... thanks to Doc F for the catch :o

Between 26 and 27 pounds...with no computer or tripod included in a Mini-Trekker AW.

I don't carry all my gear in one backpack. They're split up into two or three backpacks since I don't need to have everything with me when I shoot.

Mine weighs too much. Actually, I'm thinking of having a lightweight and a full weight kit. Lightweight would be XT+BGE3 + 17-85 IS, 70-300 IS (both with coated UV filters and possibly coated polarisers).

Heavyweight - not sure yet. Maybe a 30D, Tamron 17-35, Tamron 28-75, Canon 70-200 F4.

I got two bags, a Lowepro Nova 5 and Photo Trekker Classic, the Nova 5 is the most used when on location :)
My Nova 5 which when normally loaded is about 16lbs and my Photo trekker when loaded weighs 38lbs. Plus my 3021Bpro, no wonder my shoulder aches ???

I think I may need to shop around for smaller everyday carry bag. Ninety percent of the time I don't need ninety percent of my stuff.

I'm afraid to weigh my full kit. Usually, I just keep my good stuff stored in a Haliburton case, and selectively load a smaller field bag for the day's shooting.
