Here is one of the images I've processed for my client. The shoot took me from Dallas > Ft. Worht > Austin > Luchenbach>McAllen > Reynosa (spelling) Mexico > South Padre > San Antonio > Austin and back to Dallas.

I left Friday night at midnight and returned Monday morning at 7:30 am, we only slept in a bed for 6 hours on Sunday night.

ahhh, life on the road...

His clothes are a little to clean to pull off the 'playin for change thing', and those aren't washingtons...is he supposed to be playing outside of starbucks in some yuppie neighborhood or something. I've seen people get paid less for actual gigs, quite often actually

nice img btw!

Nice image, nice processing, but what happened to the hat? No contrast/shape in it... Too much 'burning' ov an overexposed part?
If you are covering up the face, at least something should be happening in the erea ;)

Yep Rene, the hat is the only thing that gets me. I just can't get it to have the look I want. It was hotter than the rest of the image and the burning just did not seem right.....what I need is to figure how to ad some texture. I tried masking it and adding noise but it just did not work very well.

Give me some ideas?

Not sure what "erea" is?

It's a typo for 'area' ;)
Suggestions: If you shot RAW, drag back exposure. ACR will add some detail up to -1.8 or so. Play with saturation and contrast sliders untill it looks good in ACR, then open, and copy paste onto the original document. Use mask and airbrush to get a 'vignette'.
If you didn't shoot raw: Try curves: Pull down the right top a *bit* and pull down the entire curve somewhere in the middle...

You could send me a low res, and I'll give it a try. I have to take it easy for a few days since there is a chance I've got a slight concussion... Blacked out yesterday and hit the ground rather hard ;)
(So I'll be offline in a few minutes :( )

Good luck on the concussion........maybe it knocked some since into you!

I'll play with the raw file and see what I get.

Yup, a lot better. You might want to remove a bit of the magenta/green hues, but apart from that: lots better. It's a hat now ;)
