Sounds good if it didn't have to be local...or I moved away from there. I'm sure shipping would be a pain, no mailing is not an option?

Yes I actually saw this on a local list board and wanting to learn lighting and get in to portraiture. Its cash and pick up only and I could certainly do that. That's why i posted here instead of buy/sell. I am a blank page in this arena so any advice input is very welcome and appreciated. Does the name brands matter? I noticed they didn't mention too many and would this be a decent setup for me to learn lighting?

oh, you're not sellign it. Tease...

Sounds like an excellent deal. i would love ti get all this so quickly and easily. Instead I gotta go the long way and spend money. I'd jump on this so fast, well, at least to go see it. I'd make a final decision after checking out the stuff.

Sounds like a great deal to me. If the backdrops are to fit a 10ft wide stand, they typically run $60+ each. Even cheap stands normally cost you $25ea. The brand of the strobes does matter a bit. If they are an extremely cheap setup, the output may not be consistent (which makes it hard to learn from). If they aren't some no name knock-off, the deal sounds well worth it for what you are getting.
