I just saw this thread for the first time today. Glad to hear that things are looking up. If "Land of Tressel" means what I think it does (i.e. "Land of the Buckeyes") you are blessed to have had him in one of the BEST Children's Hospitals in the world. We here in Columbus Ohio are very blessed to have some of the best doctors and hospitals in the world right in our neighborhoods!

AWWW so nice to see him in a more natural environment. :) I'm so happy that you have him home with you now. :) Enjoy that sweet, sweet smell of a brand new baby... soft breath, oh.. the joys of a teeny one! :)

I just found this thread but I am so glad to hear that Ryan is doing good. My wife and I were expecting our second until early this week when we found out that my wife had a miscarriage. It was very early in the pregnancy and she is doing fine but I can't imagine how difficult those first few weeks have been for you. I hope that this is now behind him and that he leads a happy and healthy life. Congratulations!

I will keep baby Ryan in my prayers! my daughter Kylianne was born in August and due in October and was in the NICU for a while as well...it broke my heart in pieces! I hope he gets all the appropriate care and heals quickly!!

Ryan is doing great. He went to the doctor today. He is 11 lbs 4 oz and 22 3/4" long. I had a little impromptu photo shoot the other day. This was taken with the 28-135mm and here's the settings. A little background about the background. I don't have any real backdrops. This was taken on our bed. We put his boppy under the sheet and sat him up.

Tv: 1/60
Av: 4.5
iso: 1600
focal length: 60mm
Auto white balance
Manual Mode

PP: cropping and a little adjustment to the colors and resized for the web

I would like some critiques on this image. Thanks.
