Neil - I quite agree with you about the wide divergence of tones in some of the posted variations of my original.. Could you do me a favour and post a version of it that looks good on your calibrated monitor? That way, I (and many others) would get an idea what it should look like - or it would tell them to get their monitors adjusted. Of course, you may think that my OP was more or less right, in which case don't bother posting a pic!
