that is what I thought, but as I strolled to theta pond I was almost attacked! well, he/she was actually going for the squirrel that ran in front of me. C&C welcome

Wonderful pictures - great detail on the hawk! Are these from the 70-200 w/ 1.4x?

yes, all were taken with the 70-200 + 1.4x except 6 (just the 70-200). I wish I had been closer on #7 (cropped) as the others are all pretty much full frame.
