I need some advice from others who have purchased from Kerso please.

I have contacted Kerso regards purchasing a 70-200f4 IS lense.
He did contact quickly to say that I can pay by Bank Transfer. I mailed back saying what do I have to do to get the money to you by Bank Transfer?
I have heard nothing. I want to order, but I just dont know what to do with a Bank Transfer. Should I know? I have never done one before.
I want to give him my money, but I have hit a brick wall :(

If I dont get an answer by tomorrow morning, I will have to go elsewhere, and yes pay a fair amount more, but I will have it by the next day.
But Kerso if you read this I want to give you my custom. Just tell me how!!

Frustrated Ben

Ben to be fair to Ian this is not the best way to contact him. He does not have the time to read posts on the site, PM him or email him and he will contact you, the guy gets loads of PM's and emails each day so it does take him a bit of time to respond to everyone. What I will say is if Ian has one available in the UK you will get it very quickly once you have paid. If Ian has said you can pay via bank transfer you need to Pm or email him to ask for account details so that you can send payment to him. Trust me he is worth waiting on and is a first class guy to deal with, just ask my bank manager LOL ;)
Hope this helps
Richard

this is a private matter, so this isn't really helping any.

He sin't B&H thats always open. You're saving money because of how he runs his business, and need to comply with it.

How much time have you given him to respond? altemtiums get you no where.

To be honest I first asked last December, but didnt get any answer as to how to pay him. So I gave up on the idea of getting a lense. Now I am in the position to try again, but with no luck atm :(
It is such a shame that I have had to ask here, but I was requiring info from people that have bought from him to give me an idea as to what I, or he has to do so that he will gain another customer.

This was only done after alot of thought, and tearing my hair out as I just dont know what to do.

At least I have learnt from you that he has to give me details, but I cant get any at the moment!

Just bear with him Ben, as mentioned he is very busy as he gets PM and emails not only just from POTN site but plenty of others to.

Make sure you PM him rather than posting here he will reply, just give him a bit of time to wade through everything.

regards
Gary

Hiya Ogybt,

Its not that he doesnt answer me, its just after asking a few times what bank details he or I need so that I can part with my money.

I have asked again by PM a few hours ago. What EXACTLY do I have to supply to you. Or send me your details as to what I have to do to get the money to you.
This is my last try. I dont understand how others have found it so easy.
Its an easy question to answer. He answers, but not my questions.
I hope it works out this time!

He's a genuine seller. I've bought from him before.
He sells on Ebay trading as Flash Camera.
If you buy from there you can pay via Paypal.
Alternatively, Paypal also lets you send payment to an e-mail address, that way you don't need his bank details.
Hope this helps.

If you're not happy then try www.onestop-digital.com (external link) ... Ian is a decent bloke and I have bought from him, but if he isn't being responsive to you, or is too busy to respond, then that is a way to lose customers. That is just a simple fact of business.

For a bank transfer you need his account name, sort code, account number and give reference as your name. You also need to know the exact amount to pay. Either do it via Internet or phone banking, or cash over the counter. This should be a stock response from him and take 30 seconds to send. Personally, I would find Paypal easier unless he gives you a discount equivelent to at least 50% of the Paypal fee he saves.

Has he given you his bank details? If so, all you need to do is go to a branch with cash, and fill out a bank giro credit, putting in him as the creditor. Then PM him that you've done so.

It's what I did, and I had my goods the next day...

Hi Giles,
This is just the thing. After asking for any details I need three times in the last three days, still nothing
I asked a couple of days ago, I asked again by PM at 8.45am, yesterday morning UK time, with no response.
I again PM'd last night UK time with a copy of the 8.45am request, and woke this morning with no reply, no details NOTHING!
I cant do a thing! What do I have to do??

Sod this for a lark, I will unfortunatly for me, as I will have to pay more. And unfortunaltly for Kerso, as he will have lost a customer who wants to buy a 70-200f4 IS now, witrh a 1.4 converter in May, and more than likley I will buy a 5D in the next few months as well.
This is so unfortunate as I have heard soooooo many good things about his service.
As it stands at the moment for me, and I hope he can prove me wrong, his service to me has been pathetic!
I'm a one man band in my own business, and if I treated a perspective customer in this way, I would be embarrased with the total lack of service!

If he's too busy, well good luck to him. I wish I was as busy with my business. If this was the case I would seriously think about getting some help in,so that I dont start to loose customers.
I'm totally deflated with the whole situation. If anyone here has any sway with Kerso, can they PM him please and point him to this thread?
I first asked my order question on Tuesday I beleive, and I am still here with my money in hand, and no new lense!
this has to be my last try with him.
Please help if you can.
Thanks
Ben

Ben try emailling him as he isn't always on POTN and he very rarely looks at threads. kerso1123@msn.com (external link)

If I were you I'd just be patient. In my opinion a few days wait is worth the extra pounds in the bank

Im sure that anyone here would be getting ultra frustrated with what has gone on? All I have said is true. All I want to do is spend my money, please let me spend it with you Kerso, but I dont hold out much hope :(

Constantly sending him queries isn't gonna help if he's busy! Neither is moaning in this thread like that IMO. Either be patient or shop elsewhere and save yourself the angst. I doubt he'll want to deal with you to be honest, but I may be wrong. Too high maintenance.

He answers the PM's but with no details. Thats the bottom line. That is all I need. Why dont you understand my frustration?
By email I have also given him my phone number. I dont want to be a burden to him, just a paying customer.
