He answers the PM's but with no details. Thats the bottom line. That is all I need.

Ok, well that is just lazy IMO.

Ben

Just be a little patient.

Ian was recently in the UK and may have just returned to the USA, or may still be on holiday. Some thing may have come up personnaly for him to sort out. And dont forget it is now the weekend.

If you want to save money be patient a little longer if you want to blow money by paying a higher price do that.

I'm wanting to order a new lens, but I can wait a few days to save £££'s.

Mark

Hi Mark, Its not that he didnt reply, he did,but on asking three times for details I havnt got them. (Same last December when I first tried).

If it was me I would answer any messages with any bank, Paypal or online payment details sent as standard. I would have paid there and then. Honest :D
Payment details are the most important parts of the messages from him I would have thought?

i've sent a payment via paypal to kerso yesterday, and no acknowledgment
kerso doen't give a higher priority receiving a payment than answering a question about a price
he's sincere
this is priceless

i have to say i can understand Ben feeling a little miffed over this, there,s nothing worse than deciding to buy something then having to waite for the brown van YET he has not even being able to buy the item yet for it to be delivered - and asking here for help seem's fair enough after all we recomend Kerso.

I have bought from Kerso and will again a top guy with a great service so i dont know what has happend here but now and then things do go wrong regardless of who we deal with - hope you get sorted out ok.
Rob.

Thanks for your understanding from my point of view.

I am the last one to cause a sceen in real life or online. I honestly hated doing this thread, ( I just want a new L Lense!),but I wanted to try and get info from people that have had good transactions with him. Maybe even someone PM me with the bank details?
But for obvious reasons I would be concerned to send him monies via someone elses information.

I sent an email to his msn account at 10.30am UK time. I hope to receive bank details soon? ;)

Ben, I sent an email and pm to Ian a few days ago but no reply yet, it isn't like him, he usually replys asap. As I said before give him a bit of time. I dealt with him last week and all was very good service etc. From payment to lens arriving was 48 hours.

Don't accept any bank details unless they are given to you directly by Ian.

Hope you get your lens soon.

Mark

I need some advice from others who have purchased from Kerso please.

I have contacted Kerso regards purchasing a 70-200f4 IS lense.
He did contact quickly to say that I can pay by Bank Transfer. I mailed back saying what do I have to do to get the money to you by Bank Transfer?
I have heard nothing. I want to order, but I just dont know what to do with a Bank Transfer. Should I know? I have never done one before.
I want to give him my money, but I have hit a brick wall :(

If I dont get an answer by tomorrow morning, I will have to go elsewhere, and yes pay a fair amount more, but I will have it by the next day.
But Kerso if you read this I want to give you my custom. Just tell me how!!

Frustrated Ben

Ben,

Ian is a very very busy Guy plus remember he is 5 hours behind us so there is bound to be a delay in correspondance! I have just got off the phone with him and he is very aware of what you want - he is contacting you today so stay with him :) You will get the benefits that the rest of the folks on here do!

Cheers,
Steve.

Hi Thanks to everyone on the thread here with your comments. Ben I have just sent you details for bank transfer. I did reply to your messages just neglected to give you the bank details, hardly a crime. I am not going to be negative here to anyone who has posted negative thoughts, they must have too much free time on their hands. BIG thanks to all the postive guys who know EXACTLY what the score is. I have repeatedly told members that any ignored e-mail is not intended. I knew being busy would bring some negative feedback. I am not complaining I appreciate any sale whether it be a filter or a big lens. I do spend most of my time answering e-mails and miss some. Once again I AM NOT COMPLAINING ALL BUSINEESS IS APPRECIATED. Sorry Ben I missed your request for bank deatils and they have been sent by PM. All positive comments on this thread please send your full address by PM for small calendars I have to send you. Best regards Ian.

Ben, I am in my bed at 8.45 UK time, I am in USA. I didn't answer PMs yesterday. Please understand I am not at my computer 24/7 I have a family too. Ian.

Ben Daniels wrote in post #2846854 (external link)
Hi Giles,
This is just the thing. After asking for any details I need three times in the last three days, still nothing
I asked a couple of days ago, I asked again by PM at 8.45am, yesterday morning UK time, with no response.
I again PM'd last night UK time with a copy of the 8.45am request, and woke this morning with no reply, no details NOTHING!
I cant do a thing! What do I have to do??

Sod this for a lark, I will unfortunatly for me, as I will have to pay more. And unfortunaltly for Kerso, as he will have lost a customer who wants to buy a 70-200f4 IS now, witrh a 1.4 converter in May, and more than likley I will buy a 5D in the next few months as well.
This is so unfortunate as I have heard soooooo many good things about his service.
As it stands at the moment for me, and I hope he can prove me wrong, his service to me has been pathetic!
I'm a one man band in my own business, and if I treated a perspective customer in this way, I would be embarrased with the total lack of service!

If he's too busy, well good luck to him. I wish I was as busy with my business. If this was the case I would seriously think about getting some help in,so that I dont start to loose customers.
I'm totally deflated with the whole situation. If anyone here has any sway with Kerso, can they PM him please and point him to this thread?
I first asked my order question on Tuesday I beleive, and I am still here with my money in hand, and no new lense!
this has to be my last try with him.
Please help if you can.
Thanks
Ben

Millions of business world-wide explain what a customer needs to do to make a bank transfer. For example, I don't have to ring Powergen or my credit card company to ask how to pay them. They tell me in advance. I would suggest that you just copy and paste the same standard 'these are my details' info whenever anyone asks to pay via that route. The details are always going to be the same. Also, you need standard details from them, so again a simple copy and paste.
