Looking down the Barrel of Love

Which one do you guys like better?

I call this "Barrel of Love." Ha.

#2 is too dark in my opinion, you lose the separation. #1 is pretty good. #3 looks like it might be interesting to do some coloring or other effects.

I guess it all depends on what you're going to use the photo for.

I think the "dark" look of the second goes well with this photo.

The second one works best for me. I think it would be better if everything was in sharp focus.

Hmmm....I would focus on the end of the gun pipe...Just my opinion though... I would call it departed...lol...

I like the 1st image only... but maybe a WIDER Aperture like 2.8 or better yet 1.8-1.4

B&W for me, have to agree with the focus too

Number 2 is a great shot, if only you used a faster aperture and you would have gotten the entire barrel in focus.

i like the darkness in 2 but i thing 3 just looks cool.

Thanks for the comments! This shot was totally just my friend messing around. It wasn't a planned shot, but I'll keep the focus and lower aperture in mind if I get an opportunity to take a shot like this again.

Nice shot the second looks like a cover from a Tartan cinema movie.

Could you do some more PP work on the bore/muzzle so it looks like a real .50-cal Desert Eagle rather than a pellet gun?
