My daughter is a senior and will probably play volleyball in college, rather than basketball. This is of her last free throw in her last game. I just like the way it came out with the flag in the background... 1DMk2 & 200 f/1.8

Man, I know that feeling. My daughter was a jock her whole life. She is a senior in college now and captain of the field hockey team. It was a great run and I enjoyed photographing the entire journey. I am welling up a bit now just thinking about all the feelings I had shooting that last game when she walked out on the field. Enjoy every single memory - and you can with the help of shots like this. Great job.

I confess that I was nearly in tears through this game. Some of my other shots I can't even look at without getting a lump in my stomach. She is starting softball now and I have one more season to shoot with her at home.

It's an excellent capture.
I'd probably crop out the scoreboard lights at the top.

I thought about that, but I actually like the lights. I'll probably play with it. I think this one will see a sheet of 13x19" paper. ;)

Nice shot. I'd love that 200 1.8.

Really nice shot! I don't know if I would crop out the scoreboard, or not. You know the story behind the FT, but having the scoreboard in the shot makes one wonder about the situation.
