Well I did read the instructions carefully and the use of English only wasn't in the criteria and it is Italian...we can await the judges decision if necessary.

Your first sentence is quite right, but irrelevant here I think. 'Foreign' is a broader term, and when I mentioned the use of foreign languages, what was implied, of course, was the use of languages foreign to this forum ie languages other than English (in all its forms!). I don't think anyone would object to Latin names for plants and animals though.
