Photo of my son. Raw image processed via DPP. I sharpened, adjusted brightness/contrast, saturation slightly. Stamped out some snot running from his nose....he's sick today. I don't think I helped any by sticking the camera in his face all day. Anyway, please inform me what is technically good/bad about this photo. I am wondering if the WB is correct and I am thinking the skin tones are too warm? What do you think? Thanks in advance!

i don't think saturation was the problem, try changing the color temp, cool it a bit.

I think that the image is just fine. I know that some think the face is a bit ruddy but "Hello? Sick child here?" ;)

All my kids all get a little pink when running a fever, even a slight one - and they frown at me too!

Crop off some of the blank space above his head. DOF is nice, eyes are sharp (!), expression is interesting. The contrast between the purple pacifier and the camo shirt is kind of odd to. Pretty good shot though.

The dummy/comforter detracts from the image given his apparent age.
Just doesn't look right to me. Sorry.

I don't disagree, although you may think he is older then he actually is. Nevertheless, given the situation, it was pacifier or tears. I opted for the former.
