On their messenger bag, I have a Crumpler Geekstar. How on earth is it supposed to go? I've tried every way i thought you could and it just doesn't feel natural, I thought it's supposed to "hold" it in place or some sort so it doesn't move around as much isn't it?

I've posted this before, but I'm not sure I'm describing it very well...

---------------
The extra strap is to stabilise the bag when it's worn 'messenger bag style'. It's hard to explain, but I'll try :)

This is easiest to do the first time if you (temporarily) remove the padded bit from the main strap. Unclip the connector on the small strap then slide it round near the adjuster of the main strap (i.e. the opposite end of the main strap to how you've shown it in your pics).
Put the neck strap over your head (with the bag on your right hand side), then swing the bag round right behind you. Now slide the small strap up about as far as the middle of your chest. You should now be able to pull the connector down and to the left, round behind you to connect with the clip near the bottom of the bag.

I hope that makes sense :)

Wear the main strap across your chest with the bag to the right and behind you.

The small strap will eventualy go under your left arm.

On my December Quarter the loop on the small strap that attaches it to the main strap has velcro underneith. This can attach to the velcro top of the shoulder pad about half way along, or wherever, but not necessary.

You then reach around under your left arm and clip the dangling end of the small strap to the clip on the body of the bag.

Very easy when you figure it out first time.

I think i get it, the strap loop is on the chest and it goes to the left under the arm and to the bag.

One question thou, it means the bag is at an "angle", is that right?

Correct ... it couldn't be otherwise and it is no problem. Make sure the bag is closed properly ;-)a

I'm curious if the Geekstar is the same as the Company Embarrassment bag:
