Surfing Santa Cruz

Well, the 600mm came out for the first time in a few months. I finally got some time away from the new job so I met up with a Santa Cruz surfer and shot for a little while.

Ben sweet shots! 600 gives good range! Too bad the swells aren't very big right now, but the weather sure is nice! Who's the surfer?

How's the new job treating you?

Well, considering this is the first time I've got to shoot since December, I'd say the new job has me very busy. You know the life of a recruit...busy busy busy.

The surfer is Austin Smith-Ford. He rides for Rip Curl, Santa Cruz, Adio shoes, and Dragon Sunglasses. I'm hoping Adio will want to pick up that air shot because they don't have any photos of him on their site. We'll see.

I didn't recognize him. He's got a shot or two of mine on his myspace page. Hit me up if you guys come back out this way! I'm always up to go play.
