I want the option they took OUT between 2 and 3. I want the option to MOVE my images not copy them. Everyone always responds that that's a risk because if the copy goes bad, you could lose them. You know what, they're MY images and with my workflow, I stand a better chance of accidentally formatting a card I haven't downloaded (or only partially downloaded) because I'm not moving the images. Please give us back the MOVE option!!!!!!!

I just want the catalog backup to be at the end of a session and I want the option of having it completely automatic so that when I quit the program it doesn't ask me if I want to backup or skip or postpone, it just does it while it closes.

It is in LR3 :)

It's just one extra click when you close the program ;)

EOSAddict, I hadn't found that one yet in version 3, thanks for letting me know.

In the LR3 Catalog preferences you have several choices for how to do your backups -- check it out! I don't think, though, that you can eliminate the message, and I don't think there is an automatic "remove old backups" function -- you have to do that yourself, as in decide for yourself when it is "safe" to delete old backups, for better or for worse...

Am sure (not sure where I saw it thought) that there is either a plugin or a utility for LR that can delete old backups....

I would really like the spot heal and clone function to have an additional option to change it to a heal and clone brush.

That's two ancient threads you've revivied. And you've posted the same comment in each!

Yeah I know. I wasn't looking carefully and realized how old they were shortly after the fact. I just recently had the pressing need to to get greater functionality from the spot heal and clone and was hoping others would chime in. While I have LR4, I don't have PS. I do have Essentials. but I didn't want to export there because I wanted to make additional changes using the raw file. You don't ask, you don't get.
