I like the color version better because the detail in the clothes is seen instead of being indistinct. Also, the color of the sunlight adds to the scene. But you need to eliminate the red dot just above his head.

By the way, where was this taken?

some fairly old canon camera stuff, canon lenses, Manfrotto "thingy", and an M5, also an M6 that has had a 720nm filter bolted onto the sensor:
