Hi,

When I try to upload a photo back to my CF in the camera, it only works at 640*480 and 1024*768 res. The photos were taken at 1600*1200 and I would like to transfer them back at the same resolution. However the transfer process hangs when I try and do a transfer at 1600 * 1200. Any ideas why? I have not modified the photos in any way. My basic test is literally to take a photo, download it to the PC, delete it from the camera and then put it back onto the Camera/CF card. I am doing all this with the standard ZoomBrowserEX software on a Win98 PC.

Cheers for any help
Dave

Just a thought, but what is the present setting on your camera for resolution? Maybe if its set to anything less than 1600 x 1200 you won't be able to upload pics of that size...

Thanks for the suggestion. So far I have only taken pictures in 1600*1200. I'm not sure if the camera has a concept of a "mode" aside from that which you select at the time of taking a picture. Perhaps it does. I'm a total novice as far as digital cameras are concerned and I have only had the A60 for 2 days so there may be much more to learn about it. Although I have trawled through the manual trying to suss out this problem. Any more thoughts would be very welcome.

I think the preferred way to save an image back onto your CF card is by using a card reader attached to your computer, rather than directly to the camera.
