Has anyone had any experiance on lighting gold leaf lettering on jars or tins?
I thought the wine bottle thing was tricky but trying for even, non reflective illumination of close up text in gold is also proving awkward.

I then marked position on the simulator paper and sprayed the bottles label with dulling spray. Replaced the bottle on the mark and shot using a straightforward (but boring) 45 degree two strobe setup. Then dropped label onto original pic in p/shop. Result!
