I just tried my friend new studio. Not much equipment. I used a flash in an umbrella
and the 420EX on the body.
Do you like the PP?
What can I do to make it better?

Mar 12, 2007 09:18 | #4 The main light was too low. The catchlights from it should be at the 11 o'clock position or the 1 o'clock position in the eyes, these in your image are at the 9 o'clock position. The fill was too strong making the light nearly flat. This may have been caused by the light illuminating the background bouncing around the camera room and filling in the shadows.

Other than that, the composition isn't too bad. Tell her to smile. That'll make the picture 10x's better in this case. My village called. I was told that they missed me.

For me, the expression here isnt very good. Looks unnatural. Soften the picture, i dont know if you added the grain, but for studio portraits, unless you are trying for it, there should be no need for grain in the picture. -- Call me Brandon
