Raven

I spent a couple of days at the weekend in London, photographing the sights and sounds, when I came across this Raven at the Tower of London. I didn't have my best lens so had to do with the 105mm, so it's extremely cropped.
However the story goes... Legend has it that King Charles 11 was told that if the the Ravens left the tower, the Kingdom and fortress would fall.
The Kingdom hasn't fallen at the Ravens are still there.
They are very large birds and some crows were next to them looking like midgets.

Nice capture Tony, I can't wait till I find a cooperative raven, and they do dwarf the crows considerably.

Not a bad shot all things considered.

I have never seen one but they must be huge to dwarf a crow!

There is a reason why the ravens don't leave. Their wings are clipped.
Considering it's cropped you've kept quite good detail, but I would have preferred a shot from a lower viewpoint.
