Shot the Legends in Concert last week. From their website: " Legends In Concert is consistently recognized for its spectacular superstar lineups throughout the year. With authentic costumes and their own voices, talented “Legends” entertainers create uncanny resemblances such as Buddy Holly, Patsy Cline, Roy Orbison, The Andrews Sisters, The Blues Brothers, Elvis, Neil Diamond, Marilyn Monroe, Tom Jones, Elton John, Buddy Holly, Dolly Parton, Garth Brooks, The Blues Brothers, Judy Garland, Johnny Mathis, Wynonna Judd, Frank Sinatra, Shania Twain... and many more of your favorites!"

It was a very good show, fast paced, good energy, & pretty dancers :D. The current lineup includes "Garth Brooks", "The Blues Brothers", "Liza Minelli", "Elvis Presley", and "Stevie Wonder". There are more pictures in the gallery here: http://www.1branson.com …70309_Legends-In-Concert/ (external link)

C&C always appreciated. Thanks.

These are very good show shots...You had better keep your hat on Basil... Cause You are sitting on probably the biggest concentration of show houses in the USA, outside of the Vegas strip... Keep on rockin'.

There are a few. ;) I figure I'd need to hit 2 - 3 a week all year to get to all the shows. Don't know if I have that much energy. :D

For #2 I shot about a dozen frames there and that was the best of the bunch. As he comes back around the mic get in front of his face. There's another Elvis shot in the gallery that I liked pretty well too. I didn't get as many of the Elvis as he was the last performer, I only had 15 - 20 frames left, and I was expecting the big finale with all of them on stage. So I was trying to conserve to get some nice shots of the finale. The finale happened so fast, I got 9 frames and 6 of those have the curtain coming down. :D Gotta be the shortest finale in town. As for the fat Elvis, I guess I could find myself a white, sequined, bell-bottomed jump suit and start my own show. But then it would be the fat, bald, can't sing a lick Elvis.

just really nice, vibrant, glossy shots all the way. it's really easy to have blown highlights in such an environment and you have it under control in all your photos. that's superb.

That is true. I usually have plenty of light but at times it can get a little frustrating when they have it all concentrated with a hot spot light on the guy with pale skin and a black tux, or the lady with the sequined dress. This show was pretty good though, didn't overdo the spots. This is also the first time I shot using AEB (ala Dwight), I think I might like it, but the jury's still out though. I'm going to give it another go at my next show. Need more CF. :D

Definately a few things wrong with that shot, but overall I liked it.

Thanks for the nice comments!

You're just saying that because I used bracketed exposures, aren't you.....:lol:

You're right, those peerformers really are very good, visually as well as vocally. I believe the cast changes regularly as they rotate between Branson, Vegas, and Myrtle Beach. I'll have to check them out next time the line-up changes. Thanks for the kind words.

Well Basil, if you get back there...maybe I can get some specific "dancer" pics. At least keep it in the back of your mind, ok? I sent the link to her and she really liked your shots too :)
