Just came in today.. 3 AB800's.
Now this sounds so stupid, fogive me... but how do I take off the black shipping caps? I don't want to force anything off and break something the first day I get them.

Same method for installing/removing the reflector, speedring, etc. Did you lose Digital Photo Professional (DPP)? Get it here

Mar 13, 2007 13:49 | #9 Im no studio master on lighting and setup so excuse for the bad pic.. but I used the beauty dish here (to the left of me, & then a horrible job on a 20 degree grid to my right shotting into the wall). Mind you my first day with monolights. good skin tone.
I should be goin out on location this weekend for some "real" shots so I'll post them later Canon 24-70 F/2.8L

So far all two have been minor enough that I could manually bend back into shape. They work great for me carrying around though. That black cap is a must during transportation though if you want the bulbs to survive. "Save the model, Save the camera, The Photographer can be repaired"
