My favorite shot from my training yesterday. One of my jobs is photographic documentation of our training. It's a great way to practice my work and my hobby at the same time. I love the smoke trail from the ejected shell casing.

What shutter speed did you use to catch that?

Sorry, should have put that in the original post but it was shot with XTI with a 70-200F4L. Settings were AI Servo, continuous mode 1/1000 at F4.0. ISO=400. I anticipated the shot and then just held the shutter button down. Took about 10 shots in the series just as he was firing.

Cool shot I probly would have flinched for the sould of the gun shot.

I'm not sure which model that is but it's a sniper's rifle. You shouldn't be able to see it........it's supposed to be decorated with camoflauge.:razz: I do know that it fires a .308 round. Makes a heck of a noise...that's for sure. They are fun to shoot. Got one of my own but it's a standard Remington 700 .308.
