Hey yall..

I hope someone knows this: I've just recently picked up another Canon body (the EOS 650) cause I wanted a body that is non digital. Plus, it should accept my EF lenses, so I went for it. I do have a Canon AE-1 too, though that one only supports FD lenses and well.. as time will fly by, I'll eventually get more EF lenses than FD ones, so I thought I needed a non digital EOS SLR.

Hence, my question is whether I can still use my good ol' Sigma Super 500 DG on it? Voltage issues? Will I lose ETTL?

Best regards,
Matt

The Canon versions of the Sigma EF-500 DG Super and ST models are compatible with EOS film cameras and their TTL metering system.

From Sigma's website (external link):

Electronic Flash EF-500 DG SUPER is designed to work with both AF 35mm SLR and Digital SLR cameras
