500/4 and a 1.4x

How often do you use a 1.4x TC with your 500/4? Myself, I'd say 75-100% of the time.

i said 75/100 too and thats fine as it meen's the 600mm would have been to long for some shot's so apart from its weight being a bit much for me to hand hold. im glad i got the 500.

I think at this point it has to be less than half.

I usually just start out with it off, and add it if I feel I'm "coming up short"

Very much the same for me..

It depends on what I am shooting. For the most part it stays on 95% of the time when i'm shooting surfing. For baseball and football I don't use it
