Hi all, this is also my first attempt to post a photo as well.
I've just bought myself the Canon 400mm f5.6, and having a ball missing photo opportunities, dam you lot make it look easy.

Anyways i hope to get some half decent photo's soon (well for me that is) to post , and try and get a lot better at post processing I'm not quite sure how to prepare a photo for best viewing on the web so please any tips would greatly be appreciated.

Well we all get them, but Grreat shutter speed and focus. Yoiur nexr post will need to be a tail shot going away. LOL :lol: :lol: :lol:

BIG congrats on your new EF 400L and your first post. You're on the right track, keep practicing. I suggest you use a host like Photobucket instead of a direct download from your PC or MAC. This way you don't have to worry about file size, just the dimension which is 800 X 800 max. Plus the Photobucket basic service is free.

lol as said we all get them apart from half the bird missimg everything else looks really good so yes keep at it.
the 400 is a great lens one of the very best.
