Well, It's going fine. Had a lot of great service since Christmas. My team even got to "hang around" with the United States Marine Corps for two weeks, when they participated in a big NATO-exercise in Norway. We my team where giving their main CO communications during the exercise. It was really cool, and their colonel gave me a "Commanders coin" for great work when we left them at the end of the exercise. That really made my own captain jealous, cause he didn't get one =)
The last months, and until July 14th, I'm one of 21 guys/and girls from my battalion who've been offered officer training, and therefore are having a lot of education and exams in things such as leadership, phsycology etc, and if I pass my remaining exams, I'll be a sergant* from 14th July. Will then try to apply for one of the five open sergant-positions in this battalion (communications) next year, along with a position in the "Electronic Warfare" company located another battalion (Intelligence).
If I get one of those, I'm happy to stay in the army for another year or two. If I don't, well then it's back to studies next year
So no matter what happens, I'm looking forward to next year
So greetings from corporal Hoel

No, the dices are unfortunately not issued :/
In Norway, as opposed to the U.S, a sergant is the lowest ranking officer, and you therefore need to go through officer-training (either one year at officer school, or a couple months additional education after finishing your drafted year)
