Hi All, I'm new to this forum....it's a great place to hang out and I have being reading all those great comments from you more seasoned guys!!!!

Anyway, never shoot MotoX before so any advise would be more than welcome...here are a few shoots taken at a local track, let me know what you think.

ya I agree with willy b, the second shot looks real nice! I have a few shots like that myself! All real great shots, just number 2 stands out as the best to me! Keep up the great work! Always experiment with your angles.

#2 is awesome.

The straight on view in #1 just doesn't do it for me, like YFZ_52 says experiment with your angles

Not too bad for a first attempt at MX. My only suggestion is to try to keep your shutter at or above 1/640 to keep the images sharp. It's ok to go slower, but your keeper rate will drop considerably.

Thanks for the comments...No.2 is my favourite as well but I will take the advise given and try shooting from some different angles.

Any suggestions on the best lens to use for MotoX?

Agree with the others... love number 2... straight on shot number 1 is OK, but a little flat. I'd try to get more angle on it. Some of the great shots I've seen of MX are the riders coming around a turn where it looks like the berm is enormous with the right angle.... also the jumps where you have something other than sky in the background (which is hard to do). You are doing a good job getting some motion blur on the wheels which is good.
