Boathouse

Here's a simple shot of a boathouse I took while out for a walk, and just got round to editing.

Fantastic view, I like the setting and the atmosphere it creates.

I love it. It looks almost like a painting.

Overall I like it, particularly the colours. Some might have liked it sharper, but I feel that the lack of tack sharpness adds to the feeling of loneliness and moodiness.

To me, the boathouse seems crowded by the tree, and I find myself trying to move to the left to get the overhanging tree less in the scene - perhaps subconsciously putting the tree at the vertical one third line?

This is why I do photography.
