Does anyone have both of these? (I'm sure the answer is YES.) How do you like having both? How difficult was it to justify at first but how much do you love it now and can't really imagine your life without one or the other? I do a lot of indoor shooting so I got the 24-70, but when out walking around, I'm wanting more reach... and typically, I only walk around in the day, which doesn't really require the faster lens...

I have both, and posted my thoughts on the matter here; https://photography-on-the.net/forum/showthread.php?t=289596

If I had to choose one over the other it would be the 24-70 hands down!

I had both lens and now have the 24-70. The f2.8 cannot be substituted by IS for faster shutter speed and I don't need the extra reach. If I were to just purchase one lens again, it would be the 24-70 hands down.

Canon 1D3, Sigma 70-200 f2.8, Sigma 120-300 f2.8 (sale), 1.4x converter, 580EX.
