This is my first post of what I hope to be many here in the bird forum.
Saw this little conflict over the weekend and thought I'd share.
A zookeeper was feeding penguins at the San Francisco Zoo; the ubiquitous seagulls were circling madly. The first seagull dove under the water to grab the fish, but soon had company.


#1 "Gimmee it! Gimmee it!" "BITE ME!"

#2 MUNCH!

Let this be a lesson to you; be careful when using this term, others may take it quite literally! :)

Samdiver, I'd forgotten about "Mine, mine, mine" from Finding
Nemo, too funny!

As soon as I saw that fish hit the water unclaimed, I knew something was bound to happen, and I didn't have to wait long at all!
