1st time out last weekend with my new camera (350D) 1st time out with a DSLR as well.
few pics below comments and advice welcome

Some good shots you've got there. Love the fact you caught a fellow photog chimping in the 3rd picture. Keep on practicing because you've started well (how many keepers did you get from the day?).

Keep up the good work and of course keep posting the results

2FUNNY - I'm hear'n that, I haven't even been outside with the XTi yet fearing I have 4 years, 24/7 of tectorial ( see bored already ) research and study to do to catch 1 wrinkled tire pic

screw that noise! I'll pay anyone double their salary for 3-4 hrs to avoid the drama of higher learning L! today's world demands results not librarians ( sp L! )

200 - a mornings shooting.. grab some lunch and fire off another 500... ;) - a weekend i will normally have 1500 plus shots to look at..

must rest the trigger finger.. :rolleyes:

Something ^ showed me. Try using the * button for focus. After I tried it I was a convert.

takes a little while getting use to but once you have it.. you get to keep more shots.

custom function.. 04 - set to 3 AE/AF, no AE lock

this keep Auto focus off the shutter button and puts it on the * button.
