The easiest thing to do is to join an online photo hosting service like Zenfolio, Smugmug or pbase.

Zenfolio and Smugmug are very similar, I'm not too familiar with pbase (it seems to have problems too frequently). Smugmug is a first class service, Zenfolio is its new rival with better prices and nicer themes and layout options.

You can join Zenfolio for $25 a year / $40 for the unlimited account. (In my gallery have a discount code which saves you $5) . You upload your original pics but have the option to only show smaller sizes for security, highly recommended. Using a service like this also serves as a backup for your pics, should you ever have problems with your harddrive. They save the originals in several locations.
