if you still lived in the neighborhood i would have let you borrow mine.

Funniest thing is I honestly just bought and recieved an new battery door for my 40D, cause when I'm skiing it doesn't fit with the BG-E2N in my lowepro chestpack.

if you dont want that BG-E2n Ill throw some money and a few rounds (not ammo beer) your way! imma about to buy a grip for my 50D cause at my wedding today my battery almost died and dont want to ever be in that situation again almost had to start using the main photog's gear

Any of you guys know of any cheap places to get film developed? Mail order, in town, etc. But i prefer they scan them too.

I know of mpix and epperson, but just looking for other options.

Bakers does developing and a great bunch of people work up there! Every time I have been there I have never felt pressured and extremely helpful.

I now only live 7 miles north of you that's still kinda "in the neighborhood" isn't it!!!! LOL

i "twitter'd" bakers and they said they only scan - they dont develop.

I'm thinking other than my C-41 film, I think I can develop it myself and buy a decent Epson scanner for $120 that can do 35mm and 120 film. I have developed over 100 rolls of film but its been over 10 years, so it could be pretty fun.

no worries, i dont need a dark room to develop film, my plan is to get an epson 4490 and scan after development.

I know Newcastle has quite a few locations of abandoned farm stuff from what Ive seen
The old Drug stores and abandoned railroad bridge are my favorites

Shawnee has an abundance as well, along with Arcadia

If you guys didn't see this - this person is in Chickasha selling a Sigma 10-20

https://photography-on-the.net …/showthread.php?t=1005848

I have one of these and its a really good lens, not amazing but really good. I paid $375 so that's where i would at least shoot for, but $400 is reasonable in this condition.

Okay... Is there anyone here that uses a 580EX or 580EX II? I'm thinking about buying one after that class I took and want to hear what you think. I like to say I'm a natural light photog but the instructor showed me how much I could improve my photos if I would just add an off camera flash.

Thanks!

get a flash doesnt have to be a 580ex a 4303x will suffice. in the correct situations yes a flash will mean the difference! I own a 580exII currently ive used a 430exII, SB600, SB800, and a Digital concepts 952AF/CAN (comparable to a 430 ex) i wont feel comfortable shooting unless i have a flash near me (not really but it helps)

Thanks. I have tried using a flash before but it usually was too bright and destroyed the picture. He showed me the Flash exposure control in the camera. I'm curious enough to try it out now. Plus I'm going to to shooting a wedding for a friend in August so if ya have any pointers please share them with me!
