I always forget about meetup.

Of course...I'd rather not ever shoot a model lol. Not my cup of tea.

Southeast Oklahoma, McAlester area, checking in. Mostly spend my summers traveling all over North Texas and Oklahoma to aviation events - air shows, fly-ins, etc. I know there are a few other Okies heavy into aviation photography, bet there are more out there.

I tried it at the Tinker air show this year. Only had a 70-200 though. So results were a bit lacking

70-200mm f/2.8L IS II USM +1.4x III is my favorite combination for air shows. Works great on the 7D and the 6D. This shot was taken at Tinker this year with a 6D and 70-200mm f/2.8L IS II USM +1.4x III combo.

OK I'm in DFW. but I over head at a Christmas party that there are a few places that are good for viewing bald eagles in Oklahoma mostly northern I'd imagine.

Any of you know of these spots ?

I'll be in OKC from Aug 7-11. Hopefully shooting in and around Brick Town. Lined up a few models on Model Mayhem.

I have a badge to there, but am nervous about shooting around flight line/approach on base lol. They are a might bit picky there.
