The first time I ordered from AB I got a tracking number instantly.
The second time I had to email them about it, and they sent such info in a timley manner. Their customer sevice is great, send them an email.

I have had orders that didn't quite make it for that day and it was a full day later that the order was processed and/or shipped. Just give them a call.

Same as TMR here. If they are slightly backed up it takes till the next day to get stuff out unless you pay for 2-day or overnigth shipping then they make it a point to get out that day if the order is placed in time to get it packed before their couriers pick up in the afternoon.

You have to give them a good 24hours to process the order. Unlike most places, they don't charge your card until the order has been looked at by a real person. You should, however, receive and order confirmation immediately. I've put in a good 7 or 8 orders through them, and that was always the case.

In all 3 of my orders with them, they tell me they will email me a confirmation with the exact amout including shipping, and I never get it. Not that I care, but they always tell me they will and never do. The sales lady doesn't tell the shipping lady, i guess. I wouldn't be worried, though. all my orders have been perfect.

Hi Mike,

Are you sure the email from Alien Bees is not being filtered or somehow thrown in to a Spam folder? The only reason why I ask is because I have probably placed about 8 or 10 orders with them and had a few returns/exchanges. Each and every time, whether a phone or web order I received an email confirmation of the order and each time I was given UPS tracking information.

Not only is AB's customer service great, Paul Buff personally is a great guy willing to answer any questions about his products that his staff can't answer.

They send out tracking numbers at 9PM CST the same day orders are shipped. So if your order was shipped that day you'll get a tracking number at 9PM give or take.

Well I got a tracking number via email with my last order, So I know they are sending them out. Ordered on Wed 28 Feb, tracking email on 1 Mar, order recieved Monday, 5 Mar; right when I expected.

Speaking of ABs, Stupid me just realised that the Radio Remote recievers have an AC power pack to go with them. I had got them with mine 3-years ago, but them they went on a shelf and I promptly forgot about them, completely. So when I got the new set and was opening the boxes, I was thinking hey they threw in some AC packs this will be great and then I realised the old ones had a plug on them already, so I had to see if they had shipped the old ones with the AC packs and sure enough they did, then it was just a couple hours of hunting them down. Now to just figure out how I can get more power plugs. Because I remembered why they went on the shelf, no outlets for all those plugs so I just ran them off batteries.

Thanks for letting me share.

Yeah - no way. I have seen this when ordering on the weekend. The order was probably lost. I would call.

I agree with Mike. Somehow it seems like the order was not received or processed. The simplest solution is to give AB a call. They will resolve the problem and if the order has not been shipped they will they prioritize and get it out that day. Call early in the morning just after they open.
