Any idea what this might be? Looked like an ant but its a cricket of some sort.


A long time ago I had lots of gear - now I make do with one camera & one lens.;)

maybe its an Ant-cricket (I Googled): they live in the nest of the other species. If so quite a rare sighting. Interesting, never heard of these before. Good photo too.

Great shot although not sure what it is but it looks like an ant to me

I have an ID also.... found this little critter running across the window sill this morning. He measures in at just 2mm long.

Interesting capture in #1- as RM says there is a family called ant-crickets but hard to find any pics and those I did find had a grossly enlarged top part of the hind leg.
#2 looks like a carpet beetle.
