Hey all.

After a recent visit to Australia Zoo I thought I would post up some shots. Let me know what I could have done to make them better photos.

This was taken in the snake house where everything was fairly dark so a little pp was needed.

This is one of the Kangaroos. They are very tame and docile and you can walk up quite close. For this shot I was only a few meters away.

This was of one of three elephants. They would walk into the water and chase a ball around. Unfortunatly due to the fence this was one of the only shots that didn't have alot of stuff blocking it. (however a small wire was removed from this shot let me know if you can see where from, the original can be viewed at this link (external link))

Thanks for looking.
Any comments appreciated.

I like the snake picture.

I was there in jan 06 and we were lucky that Steve did the show that day and I have several images of him with the crocs that I look at in a much different way today.

Thanks.

The show they put on was really good. They now start with a video of Steve. It is always interesting looking back over old photos. I look at some of my old ones and wonder what I was thinking.

Yep thats the place. Found out while we were there that they are going to be expanding over the next 5 years to about 300 hectares(currently about 75). They are going to have all sorts of animals from around the world. Cant wait to go back and get some more snaps.
