If that doesn't release it, carefully take hold of the card with fingernails or tweezers and pull. SD cards have an abysmal ejection method - about the most trouble-prone one in existence. Jon

finally i could eject it . but i have another problem. i searched the forum and found the same question with no reply. when i turn my camera to a light source one or two vertical lines appear on the LCD. these dont affect pictures but the videos. any suggestions ?

I believe it's related to how the CCD sensors work, and there's not a great deal that can be done (by the photographer) to mitigate it except for keeping light ources out of your shots. Jon
