I say keep it Tim, depending on what else you have in your session of course, but I think this image adds some artistic aspects when added with standard traditional and solid other less traditional shots it can be very positive image.

I know how you feel, its taken me a few minutes to decide, I'd finally say no just because its a bit too arty. I mean we as photographers would like it, but the bride?

it's in focus, it's exposed well and it's interesting...sounds like a keeper to me.

eyes dead center is the only thing messing with it for me.

I say keep it because it's a bit mysterious. All you see is her eyes...not her mouth...so it's open to interpretation.

It was incredibly dark, I was lucky to get even one shot, and I had to PP to get it looking right. Can crop to take eyes off centre. Poll is running 3/3 yes/no right now.

I voted to keep it but you said it was incredibly dark so I might pitch it if it has so much noise it can't go very big if the bride would want it large, ie if it's limited to a 4x6 or so.

ISO 800 but well exposed so would be fine up to 8x12" I guess.

If it does turn out to be a keeper it would be interesting to find out what the Bride thinks about it as I think its one of those that artistically fellow photographers can appreciate it but quite possibly a bride wouldnt think much of it. When I first saw it it reminded me of a photo in Jeff Ascoughs portfolio, in fact the 3rd pic that you see in his portfolio that I would have binned if I had taken it myself, but then I guess that just shows you how different some peoples tastes are and how subjective these things are.

p.s. Voted to keep cos I wanna know what the bride thinks of it.:)

I wouldn't ditch it, but I would have loved to see it without the other head in the foreground - could have been a killer image if you were able to see more of her face.

I agree Dan, but the person driving the car might've objected to me removing her head ;)

Tim, I agree with this line of thinking. It's interesting to me because I can appreciate it. I wonder what your client's think.
