Hi, Just run the Spyder2 on my LCD. I followed the steps correctly and everything was set up right afaik. Problem is the result gave a fuzzy almost out of focus appearrance, ie sharpness was way down making some of the smaller wording difficult to read - any ideas, is this a common problem??
Thanks in advance.

All color calibration does is to adjust the monitor colors and create a profile that the system uses. It should have nothing to do with how sharp an image looks on the monitor. Do you have the LCD set to its native resolution? If not, fonts may come out the way you described. Set the LCD to its native resolution and the fonts should look crisper.

Thanks - that was a briliant bit of advice. Before calibration the settings were all over the place so I didn't really notice any problems. After calibration the colours looked great but fonts were fuzzy at 1024 x 768. I changed to 1152 x 864 and the whole setup is now perfect (perfect enough to notice how dark my avatar looks!!!) - thanks again.

I would make sure you calibrate after the resolution change, to make sure it is accurate. Your avatar is a little black, but not bad.
