Hi

I have at this time got my canon zoombrowser ex open I took some pictures today of my sons model railway to send to a like minded modeller friend of mine question is. How do I do this?

I have used the edit page and deleted the pictures I don't want to send so there's about 12 to send.

Look forward to replies please Cheers JB

Your post is a little confusing (at least to me).

Do you need help transferring the image files from the card to your computer? (It sounds like you may have plugged the camera directly to your computer, then deleted files.)

I think you are asking a general question about workflow... so...

1. Transfer the files from your card to your computer.
(You should be able to use ZoomBrowser (ZB) program to get the images from your card to the computer. You can hook the camera to your computer directly OR use a separate card reader.)
Read this: http://web.canon.jp …re/zbex5-e/html/01_1.html (external link)

2. Use ZoomBrowser to edit the images, as you have done. Save the changes.

3. Attach the image to an email and Send.

Is this what you are asking help with?

Ok I keep trying, I have found the select image and the email bit which was hidden below the menu line.

I select the image to send it changes colour, click on the next image the first goes out" changes back from background colour, If I try to select one then another all inbetween get selected I want to send about 12 not all of them haven't got close to the email bit yet.

Why don't you just start up a new e-mail message and then drag the attachments into the e-mail, or click Add Attachments then navigate to where they are saved and add them in?

I don't use zoombrowser, but the Ctrl key is generally used when you want to selectively select :) Hold the ctrl key down while clicking the mouse. This should allow you to select the 12 you want.

I'm completely lost on this one.... Sorry.

1. Have you read the Help File for ZB?
2. Are the images on your camera, or transferred to your PC?
3. Are you trying to edit the images?
4. Are you confused about how to email the images?

Forget Zoombrowser! Just do as has already been suggested - add the picture as an attachment to an email. When you add an attachment you can just select the relevant image from wherever it is stored on your hard disc.

Just checked my email the pictures are still being sent I am on broad band.

I wonder if I am doing something wrong.

How long does it normally take to transmit an image.

Well that rather depends on how big the images are and how fast your broadband is.

When you get a bit more time to sit and learn, you can make sure that the images you want to e-mail are saved at a higher compression level than normal, just to make them a bit more e-mail-friendly
