Here's what I would suggest if it doesn't work. Download the demo/free version of winzip. http://www.winzip.com and follow the instructions to install. Then locate the directory where your pictures are on your computer. Use the ctrl method again to select all of them. Right click on the pictures, Winzip, add to file.zip. If the file is a reasonable size, say ~5mb for all 12 pictures, then you can email it. Otherwise, before you zip it, download one of these free resizing tools, resize down to about 1024x768 or 800x600, then repeat the zipping and email.
